The 5th graders took a field trip to the Grundy County Jewett Norris Library today. While in Trenton they stopped by the Creamery for an ice cream treat to celebrate the end of the school year and their upcoming graduation!

Attention Grundy R-V Students who took the online ACT during Spring 2026 testing this year:
The following message was received from ACT today regarding the revision of ACT scores. Please read and be advised.
Based on its continual evaluation of scores, ACT has informed us that it needs to reissue scores for students who took the ACT online during the school day this spring. If you are among those students, your current score will be removed from your MyACT account on Wednesday, May 13. When scores are available again (no later than June 2), your Composite score and section scores will remain the same OR go up slightly based on your individual performance. Your scores will NOT be lower than what was previously released. There is no action you need to take. ACT will post revised scores on MyACT and will be resending scores to your school. If you previously opted to send scores via ACT to a college, university, or scholarship-awarding organization, they, too, will be sent any updated scores.

JH/HS Field Trip to Main Event - Tomorrow, May 13th
Junior High and High School students, please plan to arrive earlier to school tomorrow so our buses can leave before 8:00 am to avoid construction on I-35. All bus routes will run approximately 5 minutes earlier in the morning. We will try to leave the high school at 7:45 am, if possible.

The elementary had a great time on their field trips last week! Wednesday was our i-Ready trip to the park and bowling in Chillicothe, and Friday was our 2nd-5th grade field trip to Sea Life Aquarium and LegoLand!
Elementary is going to have a water day tomorrow afternoon!

There are 2 JH/HS permission slips to be turned in by TOMORROW. One is for the Community Clean-up activity and the other is for the Main Event field trip on Wednesday. Students must have these handed in to participate in both of these activities!
Don't forget, tomorrow (5/12) is Community Clean-Up Day for Grundy R-V JH & HS! Students: remember your gloves, clothes, and shoes for working. Community: be on the lookout for students walking around town and giving back to their communities.

More track and field day...
Track and Field Day was a success! The elementary students did a great job competing, and the high school students did a great job helping and cheering them on! Awards from track and field day will be given out at the elementary end of year assembly on May 15.
The Grundy R-V High School New Gym will be CLOSED to outside groups starting Saturday, May 2nd to Friday, May 15th to clean and prepare for upcoming banquet and graduation activities.
