Less than 3 weeks remain in the summer i-Ready challenge. If you are not sure how many lessons your child has passed please email Mrs. Dyer, jdyer@grundyr5.k12.mo.us, for confirmation. The last day is July 25.
Grundy R-V School classrooms, hallways, and the gymnasium will be closed for the remainder of the month. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as they prepare our building for the upcoming school year.
The High School Office will remain OPEN. If you need access to another area of the building, please check in with the office first to ensure the space is accessible.
With the Galt fair taking place this week, we ask that all visitors check in at the office before entering the building. This helps protect the newly finished floors while our maintenance staff completes their work.

The Grundy R-V District is proposing an after school program for elementary students. The cost of the program would be $50 per week (per child). Hours would be Monday from 7:30 am -5:30 pm and Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 pm -5:30 pm.

Congratulations to Grundy R-V /Newtown-Harris Tiger, Kinsley Allnutt, on an incredible performance at the 2026 MSHSAA State Track & Field Championships!
Kinsley earned 2nd Place in the Class 1 Girls Javelin with an outstanding throw of 39.23 meters, bringing home a State medal and representing Grundy R-V with pride, determination, and excellence.

The Elementary had its Awards Assembly today. We have so many positive things to celebrate about our students!
A huge THANK YOU to the Grundy R-V Board of Education for the sweet surprise of cookies and lemonade this week! 🍪🍋 It was the perfect little pick-me-up during the final stretch of the school year. Your kindness and support definitely made our week a little brighter and a lot sweeter!
If your child has any medication (ibuprofen, allergy medication, inhaler, prescription, etc) at the school, please stop by and pick it up today or tomorrow. It will NOT be sent home with students and will be properly disposed of at the end of the school year. Thank you!

The 5th graders took a field trip to the Grundy County Jewett Norris Library today. While in Trenton they stopped by the Creamery for an ice cream treat to celebrate the end of the school year and their upcoming graduation!

Attention Grundy R-V Students who took the online ACT during Spring 2026 testing this year:
The following message was received from ACT today regarding the revision of ACT scores. Please read and be advised.
Based on its continual evaluation of scores, ACT has informed us that it needs to reissue scores for students who took the ACT online during the school day this spring. If you are among those students, your current score will be removed from your MyACT account on Wednesday, May 13. When scores are available again (no later than June 2), your Composite score and section scores will remain the same OR go up slightly based on your individual performance. Your scores will NOT be lower than what was previously released. There is no action you need to take. ACT will post revised scores on MyACT and will be resending scores to your school. If you previously opted to send scores via ACT to a college, university, or scholarship-awarding organization, they, too, will be sent any updated scores.
