Some traditions are just too good to let go, especially when they involve homemade cinnamon rolls!
A HUGE thank you to Dianna Rains, one of our former Grundy R-V cooks, for coming back and treating our teachers and staff to her AMAZING cinnamon rolls during in-service! ❤️
Dianna spoiled us with these for many years, and we can confirm…she definitely hasn’t lost her touch! They were every bit as delicious as we remembered.

Tomorrow’s Vote Matters
Tomorrow, Missouri voters will make decisions that could affect communities across our state, including Grundy County R-V.
At Grundy County R-V, every decision we make is guided by one question: What is best for our students and staff? That’s why we want our community to understand the potential local impact of Amendment 5.
According to the Missouri Budget Project, Amendment 5 could reduce funding to Grundy County R-V by approximately $263,561 each year, about 9% of our district’s budget, or roughly $2,620 per student. State funding currently provides approximately 41% of our district’s operating revenue, supporting the educational opportunities and services our students depend on each day.
As you head to the polls tomorrow, we encourage you to be informed, review the issues, and make your voice heard. Thank you for your continued support of Grundy County R-V and our commitment to providing the best possible education for every student.

Grundy R-V School District will hold the Tax Rate Hearing on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the High School Business Room in Galt, followed by the regular board of education meeting.
Grundy R-V parents and students: if you are a 9th-12th grade student and plan on playing fall baseball or softball, please add this to your calendar!

Grundy R-V School District invites all junior and senior students and their parents/guardians to attend an important informational meeting as we prepare for the upcoming school year and begin planning for graduation and life after high school.
Date: Wednesday, August 5th
Time: 5:30 PM
Location: Galt Lions Hall – Galt, MO
The junior and senior years bring many important decisions and opportunities. This meeting is designed to help students and families better navigate graduation requirements, available classes and programs, and the resources available to help students succeed over the next two years.
Topics Include:
Registration & Scheduling – Completion of online registration, course planning, graduation credits, and schedule requirements
Career & College Pathways – Vo-Tech, Dual Credit, Career-Technical classes, and Work Release opportunities
Graduation Planning – Early Graduation, A+ Program requirements, and Junior/Senior expectations (including Junior Stand and Senior Trip)
Planning for Life After High School – Counseling services to support scholarship searches and postsecondary planning
We strongly encourage both students and at least one parent or guardian to attend. The information shared will help families make informed decisions throughout the junior and senior years and ensure students stay on track for graduation.

🚌 Bus Driver Pay:
• $100 per day for regular routes
• $17.50 per hour for activity and trip driving
